We are situated between the Cheviot Hills and The Kyloe Hills, just 15 mins from the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding and 10 mins from the Northumberland National Park. We have lovely rolling countryside ideal for walking, cycling and beach activities such as surfing and diving. Maybe venture into Scotland and visit the grand Stately homes of Paxton and Floors Castle.
Alternatively, relax at The Shepherds Hut or Honeysuckle Cottage, Doddington and enjoy the peace and quiet and let nature entertain you.
Our Vision
Our vision is simple. Provide peaceful and enjoyable places to stay whilst you visit the North Northumberland and Borders region. We can provide advice, if asked for, on the many attractions on our doorstep. We can also assist with recommendations for Pubs and Restaurants nearby. If you require anything specific to make your holiday special, just ask and we will endeavour to help. We are unable to accept pets currently.

The Shepherds Hut and Sunroom
At the Shepherds Hut, we provide a comfortable home-from-home feeling.....with full kitchen facilities, log burners, bathroom with shower and underfloor heating and gorgeous views over the amazing countryside towards the Kyloe Hills and St. Cuthberts Cave. You will sleep well in the comfortable double bed with the sound of nature surrounding you. There is free on-site parking and we can store your bikes if needed.
Honeysuckle Cottage, Doddington
At Honeysuckle Cottage, Doddington you can relax in our comfortable and well equipped barn conversion, with 3 bedrooms and superb bathroom. Relax in the front or rear courtyard gardens and enjoy the sound of nature all around you. Onsite parking. Wifi and Sky TV.
